What a blog title for the first day of Summer! I know I don't want to see snow any time soon and I'm sure there are many others out there feeling the same way. I would like to wait until about Dec. 20...so we have snow for Christmas and New Year's and by Jan. 2 it can go away until the following December. If only...hahahaha!
Our challenge this week was to use Pink, Silver and White. Fun colors.
I started with a Brushed Silver (I have no idea who manufactures this paper) as my card base and then added "Pink" Bazzill card stock and then Gina K's "Pure Luxury White" card stock. I cut out a "Brushed Silver" frame from my Spellbinders "Card Creator A-2 Basic A & Basic B" sets. I die cut the various snowflakes out of the "Brushed Silver" and "Pink" card stock from Cheery Lynn Designs "Snowflakes". The "Polka Dot Pink" designer paper is from Simple Stories, which I die cut a larger snowflake from PTI's "Fancy Flakes" and the word "Snow" from PTI's "Wonderful Words: Snow". I finished the card off by punching out very small circles out of the "Pink" and Brushed Silver" card stock and filling in some of the white space and also added rhinestones in pink and silver.
Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to check out the other beautiful cards over at Merry Monday's Christmas Challenge #113. Happy Summer Solace!
