I love this sentiment. Everyday is a gift from God and we should make it as beautiful as we can. I know there are some days we want to throw back into the ocean, but we need to look for at least one positive, even on the bad days!
This card is for this week's Color Throwdown #310. Our colors were peach, aqua and a lime-y green. These colors seemed very beachy to me, so I used this beach chair I bought last summer, but hadn't inked up until today. So I can also enter it into Darnell's NBUS challenge too!
I used Stampin' Up's Coastal Cabana card stock and embossed it with SU's Chevron pattern ef. I stamped the word Beautiful from PaperTrey Ink's Life is Beautiful stamp set in SU's Coastal Cabana ink.
I used a piece of water color paper (140 lb) and stamped the chair from Lockhart Stamp Company (#2091) in Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with my Copic markers (R02, W2, YG11, BG01) and watercolored the sand with SU's Sahara Sand ink and the water with SU's Coastal Cabana ink. I mounted it on a piece of SU's Crisp Cantaloupe card stock and stamped the sentiment I hope your day is from PTI's Shakers and Sprinkles Stamp set in SU's Coastal Cabana ink. I finished my card off with a piece of lime-y green bakers twine.
Thank you for stopping by and there is still time to enter your card at Color Throwdown #310 and at djkardkreations NBUS #2 Challenge. Check out their blogs for some very beautiful cards!
