How about some Turquoise?

Hi everyone, we woke up to about 3 to 4 inches of snow again.  But we are suppose to see 60 degrees next weekend.  I sure hope the weathermen are right!!

On this week's MIM #245, Ashley showed us the color isolation technique.  You still have time if you want to watch Ashley video here and post your card before 7am on Monday.  I'm also entering this card into CTD #387.  I'm hoping the turquoise is close enough to light aqua.  You have until 6pm on Monday to enter this week's Color Throwdown Challenge, too.

SU's Tempting Turquoise CS
SU Whisper White CS
SU's Smoky Slate ink
Tuxedo Black ink
MFT's Proper Pinstripes 6x6 paper pack
Copics - YG17, YG63, Y06, R29, YR68 and B04
PTI's Doodlie Dos
SSS Prayers die cut and stamp set
Sequins

I did think Smoky Slate was too dark, so I did off stamp it once before stamping on the card stock.  I also fussy cut my flower and leaves as I don't have the die cuts for this stamp set.  I think they will be on my next PTI order.  I really do not like to fussy cut...I blame it on being left handed. Not sure if that is a proper excuse, but it works for me :)

Thank you so much for stopping by, I love it when you do.  Have a great week.

  1. Gorgeous coloring and great design, Sue Rose! I agree, dies have spoiled us because I truly dislike fussy cutting...and I'm right-handed. :)
