Thanks so much

Two posts in one day.  Playing a little catch up today.   Al finished pitting my tart cherries today, so I made him a fresh cherry pie and froze the rest.  I have enough cherries freezing for 5 more pies!  So happy.  I am also catching up on the laundry for last week, too.  And I still squeezed in finishing up one card and making 2 more for a friend (even though she doesn't know it yet!).  I used the Color Throwdown Challenge to make 2 thank you cards.

This week's CTD #300 is to use Night of Navy, Baja Breeze and Pumpkin Pie.  So, since my friend needed masculine thank you cards, I thought these colors work perfectly.

I used Stampin' Up's Night of Navy card stock as the base and stamped on Gina K's "Pure White Luxury" card stock.  The card size is Gladstone (3.5 x 5.5).  I used SU's "Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and PaperTrey Ink's "Ombre Builders" and "Embroidered Blooms" and finished off the card with navy DMC floss.  I love when cards come together very quickly and these sure did.  I did change them up a bit between using a stamp from "Ombre Builders" and the other card uses a stamp from "Gorgeous Grunge".

Here's a close up of each card.

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to check out the other great cards at CTD #300 using these great colors.
