Merry Monday's Heartfelt Christmas Wish
Back again with another Merry Monday's Christmas Challenge card. This week's challenge is to use shades of green and white, neutrals are welcome.
I knew right from the start what I wanted to do and started the card on Thursday, but didn't have a chance to finish it up until this morning. We picked 20 lbs of tart cherries yesterday and spent the rest of the day pitting them, until it was time to get ready for church. We still have more pitting to do today, but not until I get my card posted. Priorities...hahaha! Then we will be putting them in the freezer for future cherry pies...mmmm!
I used Gina K's "Pure White Luxury" card stock and inked up Stampin' Up's "Holiday Print" in VersaMark and heat embossed it with snow embossing powder. I then used Tim Holtz's blending tools and Stampin' Up's "Certain Celery", "Pear Pizzazz" and "Wild Wasabi" inks and did an ombre effect with the three colors. I added the bow and glittered snowflakes to finish off the card.
I loved how easy this card was to make and will be easy to mass produce. Thank you for stopping by and please check out the rest of the cards for this week's challenge at Merry Monday's Christmas Challenge.
Have a great week!
