Another card for another challenge. I'm not late for the deadline this time...lol! The colors this week for the Color Throwdown Challenge #409 were black, turquoise, yellow and white. I decided to use a set I received last month, but hadn't had a chance to use yet..

I don't usually just make die-cut cards. The only stamping I did, you can hardly see. I stamped the vines of the leaves, which are black, in VersaMark ink and heat embossed them in clear. I felt Birgit's energy making this card today. Birgit is the die-cut queen. If you haven't seen her blog, check it out here!
Thanks for stopping by, I love it when you do. Have a great week!
Two cards in one day...woo hoo!! And this one is a beauty too! And yes, it does remind me of a Birgit card, who definitely is the die queen!! I love the colors in this challenge and they worked beautifully with this flower set too. And I really LOVE the lattice background...so striking with the flowers and sentiment over it! Beautiful, beautiful card Sue!! :0)
ReplyDeleteWow Sue, I love this! The colors on this card really pop! I love the black lattice and bright, cheery flowers. Awesome! Your comment made me laugh. ;0)
