Create-a-card background

I picked up this stamp last week after taking a class with Marcia at a local stamp/needle works store.  We love to take classes there to keep our mojo up and running.  We didn't get to play with this particular stamp, but Kris had some cute samples for us to see.  Marcia, another friend, Julie, and I got together on Friday afternoon and decided to use this stamp to make a couple of cards.

Of course, I just couldn't put the stamp away and made another card with it today for this week's Color Throwdown #393, using Blush, Rose, Gray and White.

  1. What a lovely set of cards, Sue! I love the backgrounds you've created. Perfect for any type of card and the colors are fabulous!! You're all so blessed to be able to shop and craft together. What fun!

  2. I'm really kicking myself for not picking up that background stamp now!! It really does make beautiful cards, and the new WOW embossing powders are just SO pretty using that stamp! Wish the sparkle would show up better though...I couldn't get it to come through on my photos either! And I love the red card too! :0)

  3. What great cards! I especially love the watercolored one for CTD393! It's beautiful! Thanks so much for joining us for the Color Throwdown challenge this week!
