A yellow & black kind of day
Hi everyone,
I just couldn't pass up Color Throwdown #339. The colors they chose this week were yellow, black and white. These colors are awesome together and scream CAS card to me, my favorite kind of card to make. I don't have to think too much...hahaha! This card, again, is pretty self explanatory.
Recipe: Black card stock (local scrapbook store), Gina K's Pure Luxury White card stock, Tim Holtz Harlequin stencil, Tim Holtz distress ink in Squeezed Lemonade, Penny Black's Dreamy cling stamp and Sprinkles and Smiles clear stamps, Versa Mark ink, Tuxedo Black ink, clear and white embossing powders, Hero Arts Pearls & Gems and black baker's twine.
I am also submitting this card in Simon Wednesday Challenge Clean and Simple, too.
Thank you so much for stopping by and check out both Color Throwdown Challenge #339 and Simon Wednesday Challenge for awesome cards that will given you great inspiration.

ReplyDeleteSorry I'm so late coming to see this, Sue! It's a really cool CASlicious design! I know ezackly what you mean about CAS designs and thinking, lol! But, see, I wouldn't have thought to add the cool argyle stencil behind the flower and THAT, my dear, is taking this to the "licious" level of CAS!! Thank you for the inspiration! Happy Mother's Day!! Hugs, Darnell
