Blooming with Kindness Mother's Day card

Time sure does fly by when you can't find a few minutes to post a few cards at least once a month.  Well, I thought I better upload the Mother's Day card I made for my mom and for my mother-in-law.  I would also like to thank my good friend and stamping partner, Marcia Hill, for letting me borrow "Blooming with Kindness".  She has a great blog and posts almost every day.  Here's the link to her blog...
I made this one for my mom.  I thought I got a good picture of the one for my mother-in-law, but it was too dark.

Gina K. Pure Luxury Cardstock
Stampin' Up Pool Party Cardstock
Stampin' Up Tangerine Tango and Pool Party Ink
Stampin' Up Blooming with Kindness Stamp set
Versa Mark Ink
Stampin' Up Tangerine Tango ribbon and Pool Party button

I stamped the Blooming with Kindness flower with Tangerine Tango ink.
I also stamped Blooming with Kindness with "Versa Mark" ink around the border of the white card stock and embossed those blooms with a pearl white embossing powder and heat set them.  I then sponged around the embossed blooms with Pool Party ink.
I finished off the card with Tangerine Tango ribbon and a Pool Party button and mounted stamped card to Pool Party cardstock that I also stamped with Blooming with Kindness stamp with Pool Party Ink around the border of the card.

I did the same card for my mother-in-law, but substituted the Tangerine Tango for Daffodil Delight.  It turned out just a pretty.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope to get back on track and start posting once a week again.  I have some cards to post from earlier this year, but not sure if I will remember everything I used when making the cards.

  1. SO glad to see you back in blogland! The card is beautiful...I love the embossing surrounding the main image! And thank you for the plug on my site - appreciate it! :0)

  2. You're welcome. I really love this stamp!
